Now that the California State Water Board has passed new regulations banning biodiesel from being stored underground, is anyone asking why? Who was behind pushing the Water Board to pass these ridiculously destructive regulations? For a state that’s supposed to be on the forefront of low carbon/alternative fuels, it seems odd that a state agency would pass regulations making it virtually impossible to distribute one of the best low carbon/alternative fuel currently available in our state.
I hate to sound like a conspiracy theorist, but someone pushed the Water Board to pass these condemning biodiesel regulations. Does anyone have any leads on who might be successfully trying to roadblock the biodiesel industry in CA?
